As we head into March, excitement is high at UTA Racing in preparation for spring vacation. This break promises to be one of busiest times of the year besides competition. We are delighted to say that we managed to drive F20 at the end of February, which means that we will be able to use spring break as a week of intensive testing, tuning and improvements.

The shop was bustling with activity during the last days of February, and we successfully assembled the car and finalized our testing plans ahead of our spring break deadline. The first-drive day of any car can sometimes bring uncertainty, but F20’s proceeded without a hitch. On Sunday morning, the team made sure that the car was fully ready and all matters at the track were able to get solved in a timely fashion.

Our drivers were very happy with the handling of the car and, thanks to their feedback, we now have identified areas for improvement. Our efforts will now be focused on getting the car and ourselves ready for competition.

Besides the remarkable feat of getting the car driving, our team has begun preparations for the static events at competition. This years’ Presentation Concept has been released, and it introduces an interesting new scenario to prepare for. March also brings out Cost Report, one of the most labor-intensive documents of the competition, which is due at the end of the month. Needless to say, the team will be very busy over the next weeks and we thank you for following our progress as we prepare for California!
